Ro-Mac Lumber sponsored the Leesburg Chamber of Commerce Sunrise Breakfast on April 26th at 7am at the Venetian Gardens. We were excited to announce that Grand Ole Opry and Country Hall of Fame Member Mel Tillis joined us as the featured speaker.
The event was over 45min long, so below are the videos cut into 3 Parts of about 15 minutes each. The opening has Don Magruder, CEO of Ro-Mac Lumber & Supply introducing Mel Tillis. At the end of the speech he took questions, and then signed autographs for those who attended.

Mell was on the Phil Donahue show with a speech therapist that wanted him to say, Suzie sells seashells by the seashore. Mell said, Suzie sells seashells by the------------, by the------------, by the------------, then he looked at her and said plain as day, AT THE BEACH! When I have this memory I don't know whether to laugh or cry! I think Mell would appreciate the laughter more, but it hurts my heart! God bless him! I will miss him always! ✌

Has anybody ever heard the story of when he was working at a gas station and a woman asked wheres the restroom? He thought she asked wheres the whisk broom and told her to just back up over here and I'll blow it out with the air hose. He says that's what made him start stuttering.

That is just tooo funny. I love the one where he told the guy if he could guess how many chickens he had in his sack he would give him both of them. The guy stood there and thought for a few minutes and then finally guessed, Uh, 6 or 7?🤔🤔🤔🙄🙄🙄😅😅😅
