Well it's easy to come up with ideas like I'm a small artist and I have like 7 albums planned and 4 singles and 3 eps so it's kinda easy to plan stuff it just takes awhile to make the music/sing/produce

It sounds like she not necessarily knew right from the start, but when she came across something that fit (the reincarnation and past life memories), she fit it into what she was going to send Crybaby onwards into. What I think is great is she came across that in time to fit the seeds into K-12, with the mentions in the movie of them being immortal. It set up the future to kill Crybaby and reincarnate her as a Faerie.

I wish artists understood, like this girl does, that written philosophy is cool and all but it's dated and it really depends on art but modern day artists cannot create this kind of art because they are very very distracted by capitalism and it's almost impossible to break past it, and even survive it, as an artist.

That’s why she’s my favorite. Most artists sing/rap about sexual things and degrading things, but Melanie sings about serious problems in the world and makes movies and characters. It’s so beautiful how much her music means to her. She even plans it out, she’s awesome.

Can we PLEASE get an acoustic version of Portals? 🤩 this version of Void is so freaking gorgeous! IMO, while the album is good, I think it’s a bit too produced compared to her last two album, it’s so nice to hear her without all of the voice filters and extra backbeats.

i love how at the start of her performance she looked and probably felt uncomfortable, but as she progressed singing she felt more comfort and started really expressing her emotions more with her body and voice. 💗💗💗💗💗
