She's so good. And forgotten in Texas last year. Her revenge.

Texas just won another national championship, this time without Parra. People need to stop whining about Texas, and be happy that Melanie Parra had more playing time at TCU.

Parra proved to everyone that she was underestimated! This is a huge incentive for Melanie. I'm happy for her!

The Hawaii match was the real turning-point, where the players and coaches truly 'accepted' Parra as their #1 ace go-to hitter/terminator. Florida St was just the icing on the cake, where, from the very first point, they made Parra their champion, the one they give the ball to when the game is close or on the line. I'm so happy for Parra to finally get both the playtime and respect she deserves. Queen of the Court, big fish in a little pond, I suppose. But don't think she can't match-up with the best in the world... LIke Gabi, she might be undersized, but she's wicked quick, slick, and has incredible vision on the court and the block. Texas is faltering this year, while Parra and TCU are THRIVING. There's some poetic justice for ya~

She used to only be 5 '7. For all the outsides out there thinking they are too small

She was just not good enough to crack the starting line-up at Texas. There are other girls on the Texas bench that are State Gatorade Players of the Year from their state. So nothing against Parra, but she was up against stuff competition at Texas, who eventually won the national championships.

Shes pretty much a profesional player in the college team. She played several international tournaments with the mexican team. She is a good player but not at the same level of Rangel or Bricio. No even close.

Appreciate her talent instead of comparing her with others 😊
