الشعب الاريتري شعب ذواق للفن بالفطره رغم بساطتهم الفن يجمعهم ويلتقون في المناسبات ليغنوا اعذب الالحان وأرقى الموسيقى الراقصه والحركات المتناسقه وسط الفرح والسرور والابتسامات البريئة وسط كل هذا الفرح الغامر تذوب كل همومهم وتنسى احزانهم فهذا الفن الراقي فهو غذاء روحي كالغذاء والماء والهواء فنجد الرجل والمرأة الكبير والصغير يتناغم مع هذا الفن الجميل انا تعايشت مع هذا الشعب ايام نضاله الباسل ضد الاستعمار الأثيوبي ايام السبعينات والثمانينات من القرن الماضي في معسكرات التدريب على الاسلحة المختلفه والعراق وسوريا ومصر من الداعمين لهم بقيادة جبهة التحرير الاريتيريه بقيادة الاخ المناضل اسياس افورقي ابو رائد الجماسي/ العراق
