Joining the band for No. 1 West are guest musicians Freddie Pelletier on guitar, Gil Campbell on keyboards, Donnie Parenteau on fiddle and back up vocalists Maple Sugar (Muriel Samson, Pat Martens and Marg Yungwirth).

Classic Country as it should be! Twin fiddles, excellent pedal steel, and the finest female singer in country. There are a lot of good singers who sing country songs, and the can sing "pop" songs just as well. Melba evinces what a true country singer sounds like. Her voice blends in perfectly with the pedal steel. It is ridiculous that she is not a member of the CMHOF! As I commented, she is the finest female country music singer!

You know mela was/ is just as beautiful as her singing. And this is real country music The bull butter crap they do today is not music. Love the ones that are trying to keep country music alive and real.

What a great Country voice. No disrepect to Miss Tammy but Miss Montgomery's voice melded better with George Jones for his duets.

Poor "Manly Melba" never had any real talent to speak of. George Jones put her on the map. Otherwise, we wouldn't even recognize her name.
