Maybe there can be a revised version of stamina mode that uses this meter and makes stage-outs just a certain amount of percent, like wall breaks in some FG’s. Might need balance changes though

I feel like Swap is the most broken just because you can put yourself in an unrecoverable spot and swap yourself with your opponent to take their stock.

@@drakejoshofficialyoutubech5569 Trying to use swap should have a 50% chance to consume 33% meter without doing anything, preventing it from being a guaranteed kill. It should also put you into special fall when you do swap, enabling counter play by going offstage when the opponent does. It would still be a strong tool for when you're in disadvantage or at really high percent and ahead by a stock, but it wouldn't be blatantly abuseable even if you have much better recovery than your opponent.

I think Join is the most broken because you basically always have it since it builds so fast. If it works how I think it works, Puff/Fox/Falco should be even better with it, since Rest and the shines seem like guaranteed follow-ups if the opponent is in hit stun no matter how far away and Fox especially getting the ability to contest recoveries with Join > frame 1 shine spike with no warning seems busto. On the defensive side, when hit off-stage you can join with a hitbox to disrupt an edge-guard attempt for free and getting hit into disadvantage off-stage seems to consistently fill more than half of the gauge on its own. Strong on defense, strong on offense, consistently available, and gives the best characters even better follow-ups and access to their most broken tools.
