I still feel like the secret ending had a meaning, especially saying it did contribute to the main timeline. I'm specifically talking about Mario referring to the parallel universes, how he got back I believe was thanks to samus.

By FAR the best thing about the Something series is when it accurately replicates typical high-level gameplay. Small things like Marth floating with Dancing Blade, or Fox's up throw and shine loops. It's brilliant.

It’s great cause this is done for just about every video in the series, too My favorite (for some reason) is in the Super Metroid one, toward the end, right before the Save or Don’t options, when you use the Speed Booster to do that jump at the end of the escape route, there’s a float-lag when you reach the top due to the length of the tunnel and it’s just a _frame perfect_ animated rendition of that effect It’s completely unnecessary, and I absolutely love it

In melee you can shine then wavedash into your opponent immediately after and shine them again as fox. Only works on certain characters at some percents though
