I know ice climbers are a difficult character to learn but I think overall this game is challenging in a very unique and fun way! there's always so much to learn and it's forever fun how much you can break things down in this game and practice

This honestly warms my jaded little heart. To see someone so genuinely interested in the nitty gritty technicals of my favorite game after all these years just makes me happy. Melee is hard but keep going you got this, just remember even the best players in the world aren't even close to mastering it.

The idea for this practice module is that you can move yourself out of the way of the strong hit of up air by SDIing. Pretty sure his up air strong hit is on his right side. So if you SDI down and to his left you'll be able to avoid the strong hit. Generally speaking people don't hit you exactly in the middle or in the most optimal place so you almost never need all inputs possible to get out of the strong hit. That's reserved for TAS. If you can get 2 or 3 in the right direction you'll get out a lot of the time.

Ive played both ultimate and melee in tournament. Im just above average for both. I think they're both very fun games that try to do very different things. I think it's pretty easy to enjoy both and I don't think there's nearly as much hate between the games as there used to be. But its a long story lol there used to be a very real rift in the community when brawl came out.

yes it is a side to side shimmy with the directional stick to SDI. You can also use the c stick to get 1 input of ASDI.

Hey Ssirue, really love seeing the Melee grind! I used to stream my Melee practice as well, but I've been more on my Splatoon tip as of late. But if you ever are looking for a 1v1 practice partner I'd be down to help out. Of course it depends on if the schedule works for both of us (I'm on the west coast and play at night after work), but I'm still a somewhat beginner and I'd love to help out a fellow Black content creator! Just lmk. Either way, keep it up and I can't wait to see where your journey takes you!
