@@S-RM11 exactly, to perform the koopabackdashwaveslidehoverwalkmoonlanding you need to perform a wavedash and slightly walk forwards after perform the wavedash, this works best with characters with high traction and low walk acceleration such as Roy, Ganon, and Koopa (Bowser).

The game is actually quite stable during normal gameplay,kind of like Pokemon RBY really but with easier to find glitches

@@HieronymousLex Melee was my first Smash game, I rate it along with Ultimate as the best Smash games, and I love it to bits. I also acknowledge it's had a rushed development cycle and is as a result full of glitches and bugs. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, since with a lot of glitches you really have to go out of your way to break the game, but that by itself is surprising in hindsight considering I still hear of new glitches even to this day.

What is this tech/how do you do it? I'm a new melee player, mostly on slippi casuals for fun and I just like doing silly Ganon things. This is the ultimate silly Ganon thing. I MUST know

​@@fezthedracky8468 Forgot what its called, but essentially it's a physics exploit where you do a back jump into NIL (no impact land) on a platform. As your landing animation is cancelled by the NIL you can slow down Ganon's rotation back to neutral by slightly moving the control stick towards where you're facing. This is why you see him slowly rotate in the air till he stands back up. Names of niche techs like this are poorly documented in SSBM. I believe this is a variation of the koobabackwaveslide hoverwalkmoonland but I could be wrong. Have fun styling brother 😎

@@IAm-zo1bo it’s crazy because what was seen as “breaking the game” 10 years ago is now common tech and we really have no idea how far this game can actually go.

@@IAm-zo1bo I think part of the appeal is that I don't think there will ever be someone who can do absolutely all the tech perfectly with every single character, and not everyone can defend against certain tech/strats. The game will always be fresh no matter what
