I love yet find it increasingly difficult to Review Melia. She is so miraculously talented, I run out of out of complements! Happy to review this Video that adds more "Art" to a song with which I am very familiar, from her 4 Track EP, "Skeletal Remains." She is only young in years, not soul. This gal is a Song Writer, Vocalist, Producer and all around righteous-Guitarist and Rocka, with one hell of an Alternative kick! The later, Alternative finally smacked me upside the head during this Video. There is no one like Melia. She rolls her own way genuinely, as a person and lives so in her Music. I've always known so but this Video, "Bats Between Moonlight," is a heightened, beautiful freak of a drop! I have no idea how many times I have watched this, as a Fan first and Reviewer second. Listening and watching this video, "The gal be living it," and it is a transcendent trip! I can see the "Bats and Moonlight," in her eyes, hear both in her voice and within the contrast of her fingers upon the place they dream that start with a lovely, soft guitar and later, "Fly string," a wicked thrash. (At 3 min.) As a Writer Lyrics are as important as sound, within any Music I review. This video is so well produced and performed, with some word "Jacking up" imagination, alongside a cinematically-dark Wonderland. These strangely, superior Lyrics create a place and time that may be very personal to each viewer. This is the rare buzz for which I hunt and rarely catch! Great tune I'm a huge Alice Cooper fan and at the moment I can't think of a female artist that has ever taken his path. this is the first song of yours I have heard. I hope the rest of your music carries this classy but morbid dark theme!
