How To Install Factory Heated Grips | Triumph Trident 660

2 жыл бұрынHere is my attempt at a how-to video on installing factory Triumph heated grips, P/N A9638319, on a Trident 660 triple. The most tricky parts are getting the gas tank plastic off, and routing the wiring harness through the handlebars. Overall, not too difficult however. Any questions or comments, please leave below. Man I have spent 3 hours on this job and canNOT get the wire to go through the throttle side. I have pushed it all the way into the bar and it will not come out at the end. At this point I don't know what to do. I've lubed it but can't loosen the handlebar bolts to tilt it. I'm pretty freaking frustrated at this point.

what is the black thing across your battery terminals ? (Red and black wires)

Hello, I have mine too but it doesn't heat up or even warm up. Just shows the indication it's on level 3-2-1 but no heat. What year is you trident? Mine is made around April 2022 and Triumph said the grips have a bug and won't heat up :(

My Trident was a 2022, although I don't have it anymore. If they aren't warming up at all, I would say they are defective or not installed properly. If you had a dealer install them, I would go back to them about it.
