I know Agents Of Shield ending a while ago but I wanted to make a Calvary video. I wanted to understand May a bit more and after making this video I definitely feel more connected to her character. I actually like her much more. I had a huge plan going into this video but had to cut much of it out. If you'd like to see a part two please comment. I hope you all enjoy, thank you, and stay safe!

My one issue with mays Calvary story is that even colson didn’t know what happened. Even he misunderstood what truly happened. And I always liked the idea thst colson was the only one who knew exactly what happened

I can understand that. I always thought he knew as well until we found out what happened. I never really thought about that but I think I like how no one knew because it works with her character. She was so traumatized with that event that she couldn't talk to anyone about it. Usually when I watch shows there's always someone the person can confide in when something horrible happens so I thought it was interesting that they let her keep that to herself. And I think it was too hard for herself to talk about which is why not even coulson knew. Maybe it was hard for her to tell him because he was so close to her and she didn't want him to think different of her.

@@alicoop3195 yeah I get that she was so traumatized by the ordeal that she couldn’t talk about it. But I still like the idea that colson still knew. I always like his “secrets master” vibe. The way he knows all. Every deep dark secret shield has, colson knew. So I liked the idea that colson was the only one who knew what truely happens. But it turns out he knew as much as the random shield tactical team

Me too, I'm so glad she got the chance to be one. She's kinda always been a mother to the bus kids but for her to recognize it and realize that's she's a great mother is the best

Yes I heard the song a a long time ago and when I began editing I knew it was the perfect song for her. I also really enjoyed the Bahrain story line the writers created. This one op affected May for the rest of her life and throughout the series you can tell how it affects her actions and the things she says. I've caught so many lines in the early seasons that were influenced by this and even in season 5 she speaks on it a little. The Bahrain mission was so important to her story arc and who she is. And honestly, I see so many parallels between Natasha and May. They both try to make up for their past but can never really escape it. There's more than that too but I don't want to spoiler black widow.

When I first made this video I was going to do another version for the framework, but I never got around to it. I have a few videos in the works and a few I really want to do but I haven't started. If I get the time I may do another part, we'll see. Really glad you enjoyed the video though. This isn't a video I thought would do good but it exceeded my expectations.
