It's a shame she doesn't get the recognition she deserves. I for one think she's the best female music artist I've listened to in the last 10 years. But that's my opinion.

Dude, she gets plenty of recognition. More importantly she’s been lucky enough to be admired by her fellow successful artists. She was siphoned into 2 very successful bands without any intention of being in either one. She says this herself. So she’s had a great run.

@@sweetcell8767Quite right, very well said. She's actually been very lucky, there are thousands of amazing bass players who didn't get the chances that she got. I'm not hating on her, I just find it odd when people start talking about lack of recognition when she's had more than her fair share.

The one time I had a chance to see her, I had a gig of my own that night :( I thought she might tour again a few years after but I think she's pretty much hung up her bass now. I'm devastated.
