0:53 It’s quick but she definitely says it. Still, you find a way to let the people who will be effected know what’s going on. What happened was incredibly shady and Melissa should have been sympathetic toward Chloe and Paige (especially since Chloe and Paige would have been first if Two Sapphires hadn’t been thrown in)

Freya McFerran I feel like that was only for the first couple of seasons because Maddie was more serious about dance and making it her career. From that young age, Maddie was saying that she’d die if she couldn’t dance. At that age, cute little Kenz would’ve rather stayed at home and eaten chips 😂😄 In a way, I feel like Melissa was a better mother to Kenzie. She let her live her childhood and enjoy her own personal time outside of dance. Meanwhile, she was a better stage mom for Maddie and hunted opportunities for her because she knew that Maddie wanted it. I have a whole entire different perspective when I saw this video. I see the moms views on what is going when it comes to advantages, but at the end of the day, those are MELISSA’S KIDS. What she does with her kids is her business, and it seemed like the moms made it seems as if they owed her something. She is grown. When it came to Christi speaking about her personal businesses, it made me give Christi a side eye. Why would Melissa take anything away from her kids period?

One of abby's problems is that sometimes when a kid is doing something wrong, she won't tell them what it is and how to fix it, she'll just cut them from the dance or give the lead to someone else. Like ya coulda told kenzie to do better with her facial expression, like dang, give the girl a chance.

i think that melissa ultimately had the best intentions for her kids and was super persistent about it, which is probably why her kids are two of the most successful to come out of the show. she’s always pinned as a manipulator and liar, but i think she was just two steps ahead of the other moms, which they saw as unfair.

Let's be serious here, if any of these other kids had the same opportunities Maddie did initially, they would behave the same way as Meliss stepping on anyone who gets in the way. Like the other moms made a big deal about Melissa taking Maddie and Mackenzie out to schedule auditions and opportunities for them... sabeyah That’s true, I completely agree with what you said. Sometimes Melissa is rather hypocritical in instances like that. But still, there were cases where other mothers did similar things. I remember one episode where the mothers (Christi especially) argued against Melissa because she had chosen to homeschool her daughters. (It is a choice - why were they complaining about that? 🤷🏽♀️) A season or so later, a lot of the other girls also began homeschooling. While I agree that Melissa had a lot of hypocritical moments, I’m also saying that a lot of the other mothers did too. They all did it for the sake of their daughters so that their daughters could get opportunities.
