Melissa Vargas Dominated Against Brazil in Women's OQT 2023 !!! Melissa Teresa Vargas Abreu (born 16 October 1999) is a Cuban-born Turkish volleyballer, who plays for Fenerbahçe Opet.
She was a member of the Cuba women's national volleyball team and was part of the Cuban national team at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Italy. Since 2023, she has been playing in the Turkey women's national volleyball team.
The Turkey women's national volleyball team (Turkish: Türkiye Kadın Voleybol Milli Takımı) is formed by the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) and represents Turkey in international CEV and FIVB organizations.
The team is one of the most successful national sports teams in the country and is nicknamed "Filenin Sultanları"[2] (English: Sultans of the Net) since the 2003 Women's European Volleyball Championship hosted in Ankara, Turkey. It is ranked first in the FIVB World Rankings as of July 2023. Daniele Santarelli is the new head coach of the team.

And you can see the difference in her through the years. She is happy now, so we are. Actually other nations say we won because of Vargas and before her, Turkish national team was trash. Well its not true because we already had a very good team. Vargas and Santarelli is just a spice at the top that makes eveything complete. Turks are mad because she's Cuban origin. I guess Turks don't feel like they're being praised. That's why they tell the channel to praise other players. Comments that clearly show that they doesn't fully accept her. They were angry during the Mesut Özil case, right? it feels like a double standard. I'm sure if she wins she'll be Turkish and if she loses she'll be Cuban. If you don't like it, why did you ask her to naturalize? This channel always picks and features one person. You are writing the same nonsense everywhere. Melissa Vargas is being loved, embraced, protected and cared by All Turkish fans. She is our girl, we don’t care of her origin. We love and adore her so much. People are overreacting because some toxic and mostly Brazilian haters say, “Türkiye is trash without Vargas”. And this title kinda serves for that perception in some of my fellow Turks’ minds. They have nothing against Vargas, they love and accept her to the fullest. To me there is nothing wrong with this title. I think my people are unnecessarily overreacting. But I can see where they’re coming from and I assure you, it has nothing to the with Vargas’s origin at all. We couldn’t love and accept her more ❤. And Mesut Özil is a completely different story. He is of Turkish origin by both father and mother, but he is a German citizen. He never played in Turkish National Team, he didn’t want to play. He played in German National Team, instead. So he is not technically our boy. He only played club football in Türkiye. You can’t compare our Vargas who represents us nationally with a guy who doesn’t.

not true.. key players today were Eda Erdem and Cansu Özbay ..Hande was surprisingly good too at offense, besides her reliable, consistent defense contribution.. Melisa is so tired and she can't hide it anymore.. we've recently watched games, in which she served around 110 km/hr from beginning to end.. but she could barely reach 100km/hr, a couple of times, in the last few games..

A Turquia é um país maravilhoso , só em matéria de vôlei é poucos anos , inclusive só tem vôlei feminino , não tem vôlei masculino, ganhar é perder faz parte do jogo , não quer dizer que à Turquia é melhor que o Brasil no vôlei , o Brasil está passando uma fase , mais o Brasil é dos pais que tem mais medalhas no vôlei , tanto masculino , como no feminino, é bom que as mulheres da Turquia se libertem , é um país que humilha de mais as mulheres, eu pessoalmente gosto das meninas da Turquia os homens são lindos ,🇯🇵🇧🇷

Brezilya halkına başsağlığı dilerim. Dünya voleybolu bir efsanesini kaybetti. 2008 olimpiyatlarını hala hatırlıyorum. Belki brezilyalı kızlar bu kötü haber yüzünden türkiyeye karşı iyi bir oyun oynayamadı. Ama türk takımı çok dominant, hücum çeşitliliği çok fazla ve iyi savunma yapıyor. Tebrikler kızlar

Diğer takımlara da aynısını yapıyorlar. Copy paste headlines'a alışmışlar. Sadece başlıktaki ismi takımın pasör çaprazıyla veya smaçörüyle artık en skorer kimse onunla değiştirerek başlık atıyorlar. Maçın geneline baktıklarını sanmıyorum. Çin olsaydı Yin Yin dominated against ... olacaktı. Ha bir de ülkenin adını değiştiriyorlar...

Türkiye swept Brazil again. Clearly you could see the Turkish players out performed Brazilians. One thing I didn’t like about this video is the Fu..ing commentator. He could not pronounce the 90 million country’s name properly. It’s TUR-Ki-YE. That was annoying and I thought it was disrespectful. Other than that it was a great game. Enjoyed watching. Congratulations to both Türkiye and Brazil for the great match.🇹🇷🇧🇷
