Make sure those lights don't get hot! Not all lights are safe for this! Turn it on for at least 6 hrs to see if it gets hot to avoid some kind of house fire in your kids room!

@corbinbleu444 have you ever felt a battery pack for led lights after 3 hrs? It HOT. I've had one catch fire. Faulty lights happen. If you cannot test the lights they should not go in a child's room. Any lights can be faulty. No one wants a fire in their kids room.

@@Chococutie365 Christmas tree lights can also get hot depending on brand and quality. That's why so many house fires happen during the holidays. Happened to us when I was young. Dad kept a fire extinguisher in the kitchen, so the tree was out before it could cause damage. Most tree lights now are made to not heat up, though it never hurts to test your lights when you first get them. Turn them on for several hrs, I do 6, and if they get hot either don't use them, or keep a close eye on your tree. Any light can malfunction so its a good idea to do that yearly. Safety first.

The foil was removed before she poked the holes, as it was only intended to be used for the round head shape. But yes I agree with you.

@camx3316 not true. They sure can get hot enough to be dangerous and so can the battery pack. Always test the lights.

I love what you did! Me and my mom made bigger ghosts by putting a ballon on top of a vase. Then you dip fabric into a mixture of mosh posh and water. Then you squeeze the fabric and place it over the ballon and cup. Then you let it dry over night and paint eyes on! I hope this makes sense.

string/pipe cleaner roll tissues up into a ball and then take another tissue and put it on top then take a string or a pipe cleaner, wrap it around and make sure it’s secure and tight and then you got a ghost

I’ve done something similar but with less mess I did it with kleenex. I stuffed a couple balled up tissue inside one or two kleenex and then wrapped a clear or white rubber band around it to make the “head” it has a slightly dif shape obviously but it’s easier and less mess and work lol I also have made much larger ghosts without lights that we hang from the tree in our front yard every year and have had the same ones for years. I used white styrofoam balls for the inside the ghosts “head” with a few layers of sheer fabric draped over the head but I the styrofoam for the “body” and used a rubber band again. Then I hang them with fishing line so u can’t see it ! you can use anything really but I would try to keep it white just so u can’t see it…White trash bags, cotton, or old white tshirts/socks/fabric. If you use something like cotton u can always involve lights somehow if wanted.
