Thanks for this video. I usually shy away from commenting, but we’re building this right now for our patio. Excited for the future. Thanks for taking the time to share your progress.

Not really, but I had one that had polycarbonate roof panels. The construction was almost exactly the same except for the roof system. It lasted about 10 years through maryland winters and lots of wind storms. Never had a problem until I tried to powerwash the roof panels this spring and blew right through it.

They come with cap nuts, and they tightened up pretty firm. Thread lock wouldn't hurt, but I don't think It's necessary.

Do you think adding thread locker to the screws and bolts so they don’t loosen up

Does it have a gutter system on it or does it pour over the sides?

Hi! I’m struggling getting the roof panels in. The flimsy clips that attach to the sides keep falling off when I’m trying to slide them into the frame. Do you have any tips?

my wife held the clips in place while i dropped the bolts through, then she held the nutswhile i tightened them. On the blind clips i tsped them in place then removed the tape later. i showed that in yhe video.

What part of the country are you in because Im in WA state and concerned about the snow load on this. Great video.
@boballen75922 ай бұрын
wow, thats a tough question. i would think it could handle a moderate snow, but if you're getting a foot or more of snow, i would be concerned. i know i wouldn't want to disassemble it for the winter. that would be a lot of work.

How is gazebo holding up after a year?

its perfect. No issues whatsoever. i took the screens and curtains down over the winter. we've had some heavy winds, but it wasn't phased by it.

Is your roof polycarbonate?
@boballen7592 Жыл бұрын
No, I used to have the polycarbonate. The new one is all metal

What happened? Should I not waste my time with the polycarbonate. I actually prefer metal roof; any advice is helpful thanks!! @@boballen7592
