Acura RDX 2018- replaced dead battery and light remained on “check charging system”. Alternator and battery working so checked all my fuses. Only burnt fuse 10A was for Horn. Replaced it and the error light went away. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you for the informative video! I just wanted to caution that a blown fuse can be an indication of an underlying electrical problem so if you replace it and it happens again, you might have more serious issues.

I have a 2014 Honda Pilot. The battery light comes on often. Noticed that the times it does come on its when you are slowing down. This has been going on since Feb. First thing I found was when I load tested the battery it showed bad. Replaced battery. No light for a few months. Battery light come on again then completely quit. Tested battery and it was good. Checked alternator and it was bad only little over 11 volts. Replaced alternator and did great for couple weeks now battery light coming back on. Gonna check battery and alternator again. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks!!

Yes, but why did the fuse blow in the first place? Just because you replaced the fuse doesn't mean it's a fix. Something blew that fuse.

i just got the warning light but when i went to go check under the hood, my fuse layout is nothing like on this car. i have an 07 tsx.

you're a lifesaver, did all these steps on kia telluride and found stupid fuse burnt, changed it and the light went away

Great job! I spend $100.00 on a battery sensor and it did not fix the problem. After watching this I checked the fuse and it was blown. I replaced the fuse and it's fixed. Waisted $100 on battery sensor. Thx for the help.

Thanks so much man.. my sister in law had this problem forever after I fix her car and I assured her that there was nothing wrong with the alternator.. and everything check out correctly. Now I know what to look for..

But how did you know it was that fuse, without plucking all the other fuses 😂

Any idea what cause the fuse to burn out in the first place? maybe an electrical arc during a jump start?
