Hey Gizzo. How do you know which chord to play in the left hand as you play your chords in the right? I struggle with figuring out what to put in my left hand as I play chords in my right, I am not sure if I should just do a root and fifth in the left, root and seventh, it confuses me at times. I'm a lone musician where I serve so I usually I play bass in the left, so I guess that's why I don't know what to put, but it would be interesting to hear your thought process. Thanks.

U can do major chords, octaves, extensions, ditones, tritones and even single notes in your left hand. It all depends on the progression you're doing and the chord voicing you want to attain.

@@gizzomike4310 I figured, but I was wondering if there was a thought process behind it. I honestly just play octaves or 1+5 in left hand. I try to play ditones but don't know which to pick for example.
