Thiss anime is such a breath of fresh air. It's way more different from the usual Fantasy Anime...also the cooking and story is great👍here's hoping they continue with either new episodes or have a second season.

Most anime’s are all about strategic fighting and shock factors. But this anime is so lighthearted I love it. I just have a feeling it’s gonna break my heart by getting serious later on.

the effect on the vocals here 0:29 and the guitar here 1:34 and the vocals here 1:50 and the way that first thing that only goes on for a little bit usually repeats a couple times at 2:32 and the way the bassline interacts with the main thing going on there at 2:46 and the key change at 3:35 are all so insanely fun I love this song also the drumming all the way through is amazing and so fun to play

I had no idea what this anine was. My fiance was watching it on netflix and then this theme song came out and i was so hooked. I was like this theme song is so calm, but serene and peaceful. Has a nice mood to it. I was mad when the theme song changed later on 😂

I have been reading manga and watching anime for most of my life at this point. I've got over a thousand series bookmarked on mangadex. this is my #1 manga of all time, and it has one of the strongest finales of all of them. studio trigger doesn't look like they're messing around with the animation either, so this very well may be one of the best animes of all time alongside best manga.

this anime gives me for some reason the feels, and opening is so good, the animation , the characters, I was already spoiled, about some things, but guess there will be much more to it than just eating monster...

It's because it's more of an actual adventure and not a isekai series, having the focus upon the food aspect where the cast are travelling through a massive dungeon and they can't teleport between floors to get fresh food, plus it's a bit of a rescue mission with some dark undertones!!

I hope TRIGGER puts as much passion into Dunmeshi as they did Edgerunners! Kui's setting deserves nothing but the best! Hopefully the second cour can reach the red dragon encounter, so we can see Marcille's magic really put to work 😃

Assuming we go at the rate of 3 chapters each episode (Which is reasonable for a slowly paced manga like this) it'd reach around chapter 72... But that's a pretty awkward place for it to end. Either they're going to have more than 24 episodes, or they'll cut some stuff to adapt the entire series. It's also possible that they only adapt 2 chapters per episode, which would make it so the manga could fit into 4 cours with season 1 and season 2.

@@dankerbooper I didn't read the manga but I think they are doing 2 chapters per episode on average and 3 in some rare occasions. I hope it doesn't end with only 24 episodes because this series is climbing my favorites list like few anime have done so far, also it seems there's material for 2 seasons (between 40~48 ep maybe?)

This intro song reminds me of the song in the nes game Solstice. You have to sit on the title screen for a bit, but when you hear it, It blows your mind. Just like this song is doing now.

The Eng dub made this series in the same way the Eng Dub of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood’s dub made the series. Subs make the series sometimes, others it’s the dub. The dub this time made it more believably lighthearted if that makes sense.

@@JohnGaming55 There was a page in Newtype with the announcement and some other production details. It'll air weekly in Japan starting the 4th, not as a batch release like what Netflix will do in the states. 🤞for fansubs!
