Hola, this is Phil Travel. In this video, I am walking in and around Meloneras, a purpose-built resort, running Northwest from the lighthouse (Faro Maspalomas) up to Meloneras Beach. Meloneras is the most expensive tourist area in Gran Canaria. It is a very up-market resort with many five-Star hotels, high-end designer stores, international fine-dining restaurants, etc. Here, there are multitude of shopping centres, shops, restaurants, bars, cafes etc. for everyone. This resort is also lively at night, but a more discerning kind of nightlife, a great place to chill out.
Paseo Meloneras is a 12km long seafront promenade stretches from Faro Maspalomas, near the Maspalomas Dunes, up to Playa Meloneras, a small beach at the end of the promenade. The seaside promenade is suitable for strolling, jogging, relax, etc. Along the promenade, one can visit Faro de Maspalomas, Boulevard El Faro shopping centre, Playa del Faro, Varadero shopping mall, Oasis Boulevard shopping mall, etc.
