With the polite dialogues I see it as them sparring (Example being Sub Zero in both Injustice 2 and MK11, saying he'd rather train than kill his opponent, as well as the same with Raiden since his is honorable as hell) unless its between certain characters like Baraka and D'Vorrah

Agreed, he's barbaric but he does it for his people. Him and Reptile get the short end at times. Reptile doesnt classify as Evil, he wants a chance to bring back his race and to save his people before Shao Kahn subjugated and killed them. Baraka is used as a brute rather than someone who looks after his own clan but knows only war since he was only pushed to be that way.

Call this nit-picking if you will furthermore, I appreciated the attention to detail in MKX when it came to revenants speaking (hard to describe but they didn't sound normal). I was disappointed they didn't have that same detail in MK11.

One of the few good things about the otherwise awful DC v MK game is at it put Joker into the MK universe so when he reappeared in MK11 it was flawless
