So, speaking of Chatty Cathy, here I am!! I just have to say how much I appreciate you and your videos. So, I was watching a palette declutter before this and the person decluttered this palette as I’ve seen many others do. I still purchased this palette because I love mattes and the colors just get me! So, after this person decluttered the palette and basically just said it wasn’t good, I realized I hadn’t really seen a tutorial done with it so I looked one up and boom, one of my all time favorite youtuber’s popped up with this video! I actually was watching your most recent video the other day and saw this video but can’t remember why I didn’t click on it then. So, why I appreciate you and your videos so much...I learn so much from you. You apply shadow differently than how I see so many others apply it, and watching your technique has really helped me. I learned from watching you that I don’t always have to start with lighter shades in my crease in order to get a really beautifully blended and cohesive eye look. I love makeup, particularly eye shadow, but I’m not that great at applying it and definitely consider myself a novice. I also really appreciate that when something happens that you weren’t planning, you figure out a way to work with it and explain what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and really just go with the flow even if it changes the overall look you were going for. Especially for a novice eye shadow wearer like myself, I find that particularly helpful. If an eye shadow isn’t good, you’ll tell us, but a lot of times you’ll figure out ways to make it work, which people forget can be really helpful to watch. Those are the kinds of tutorials I look for. Watching a “tutorial” where someone applies everything so fast and edits out any mistakes or parts that might take a little longer, is just not that helpful to someone like me. Just because you may have to work a little harder with a shadow or apply it differently, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad shadow. I understand that not everyone wants to make those adjustments, and that’s totally fine, but I really find it helpful to watch how you make those adjustments. I totally feel everything you were saying in one of your more recent videos about how social media can feel after a while and how nice it can be to get a long break from it. I always find it difficult to pull myself away from it but once I do I have a hard time getting back on. Anyway, i wanted to make sure I let you know how much I appreciate the amount time and energy you spend on getting a video up, even when it might the the last thing you want to do. I love your content, your vibe and your authenticity. 💕💕💕

I only have the Gemini palette, and I adore it... but the darkest green & the darkest brown always do that skippy thing in my socket. It’s a shame, because like you said - the colours are unique! I find they mix well with my Viseart & Sugarpill colours so it’s not all bad. Recently got two of the gel liners from melt and they are fantastic, a lot like the Inglot ones.

Oh my, I'm late to this party.....so I own one Melt palette, the Impulsive palette....which of course I bought impulsively at the time. Haha. And of course it's been on sale for weeks! That being said, the shadows are easily blendable and very pigmented. The blue shades require a bit more time to blend. Overall, I really enjoy Melt. Hope everyone is staying safe, blessed and aware.

Would you consider doing a video for health care workers? Most of us work 12 hour shifts. I pretty much stopped wearing makeup several months ago because of wearing PPE. Recently I cleaned out my makeup and got excited about wearing it again. I accept that my face makeup is going to come off from wearing masks..but what about eyes? I live in Florida and have oily eyelids. My holy grails are Dior's waterproof mascara and Colourpop's Sweet talk palette. It would be nice to see other products and ideas that might last a 12 hour shift. Long lasting products as well as those that fade nicely. Maybe also realistic ideas for how long makeup can last. I have started to relax with makeup videos again. It's a nice escape from a not so nice world. I would like to see makeup for healthcare workers be a tag. I am sure Influencers would have other good ideas. I also love Goth and Rockchick looks..but hate having them all over my face at the end of 12 hours. I am sure there are other people who would enjoy long lasting work makeup videos. Even people outside of the medical field wear masks during their shift. What do you think? ♡ Thanks Mikki
