PCOS is very much a lifestyle/diet related and also a sign of insulin resistance. Your doctor should check up on your blood sugar levels regularly to make sure you are not diabetic/pre-diabetic. You probably know this I just wanted to give you a heads up because I also have PCOS and I have unfortunately developed diabetes type 2.

@@CaptureEmma oh we do full panel blood work including hormones every 4-6 months. Sugar level has been a perfect 5.0 for the past couple of years. I control my carbs and sugar intake and workout regularly. Doctors also recommend bills such Metaformin but I rejected them and control my insulin with diet and exercise.

Alex talking about high school. My daughter graduated in 2014, she went to a rural country school. She became best friends with a boy one year over her when she was in 8th grade. When I met him I KNEW he was gay, he was definitely in a glass closet, as u say. She said he got bullied and teased relentlessly. She was his protector. He had a hard time at home too so our home became his 2nd home and safe space. Then high school came. In junior year that whole "gay bestie" became the cool thing and alot of girls tried to snag him up and befriend him. My daughter was very protective of him and got upset bc it started going to his head. She said, UHUH Bish! Hes MY BESTIE! I was there BEFORE it was the "cool thing". He did hurt her a bit, but she never waivered as his friend. They're now 28 and 29. She was one of his "best mates" in his wedding. Supported him through his divorce. Watched him became an alcoholic and helped him get sober. They've been through so much as friends. And Ive been here as a mom watching it all, seeiny them grow into amazing adults. I couldn't be more proud of both of them. ❤ so the whole 'gay bestie' trend, is more than just a trend for some.

Or even just a good clear highlighting gel. Bc his lashes are already long and beautiful. He just needs something to bring them out. They look like they have powder or something on them. A clear gel would make them pop without actually having color on which, bc he said he wants a more "handsome" look, might work better for him

The doctor said a palm and a half of rice was ok. But nothing is that simple - was it white rice? Brown rice? Fried rice? Rice with pasta added (her beloved rice a roni?) There's better rice like wild rice blends with brown rice and even other strands added like red and black rice (the forbidden rice which has the most complete structure and is possible the very best rice you can eat, if your gut can take it and mine couldn't. But dummy. I ate it for four days straight which is totally not advised and the results weren't good.)

I'm less concerned about 1 brownie (and you know it's 3 or 4 over a day) than I am about the sodium overloads she intakes and never addresses. You know those veggies and hidden rice were nothing but salt-delivery vehicles for copious amounts of sodium. She's all about NOT changing her diet but finding drugs and supplements that cancel her diet out (she has 0 desire to change). 1 dose of Unicity and her blood sugar didn't rise...boom, brownies are now justified whenever she wants. 1 time = lifetime data for her. I'd love to see Dr. Now rip into her with reality checks. 😂 And she rages because she has no life. If all I did was eat and get sick in a constant, circular cycle, I'd probably feel rage, too. Difference is, I wouldn't go on internet rampages against people with legitimate concerns. I'd grab a couple beers, make some healthy food, and enjoy a movie. (2 of those 3, she can't even do).

23:40 I have a Samsung phone and yes, it will tell you how long you slept but it allows you to edit when you fell asleep and wake up. And you can set the times of your "sleep tracker". Like, if you're a morning person like me I set it to 8:30 pm - 4:30 am. So i try to go to sleep at 8:30 and my phone records the next time I grab my phone
