This is exactly how I wore my hair my entire senior year of high school, 1995. Wish I could show you a pic; you'd laugh. Almost identical, except for the color. Back then it was very "Madonna Vogue" as my friends called it.

I love that you shared this journey! I have a pixie with an undercut fade underneath that I’ve been keeping really short for summer but am dreading growing it out for fall/winter. I loved your look with the bangs, it gave major Demi Moore in Ghost vibes! You’re gorgeous no matter what hairstyle you have, thanks for sharing this with us! Also, the opinion you didn’t ask for: go on and trim the long bits at the neckline. ;)

Wow! Your hair just adds so much richness to your beauty. The texture and color surrounding the face emphasizes and highlights your face more than nothing around it. To me the color relation of your eyes and hair makes your eyes stand out more and creates unity in your aesthetic while also creating contrast and definition against your skin. Very pretty.

My hairstyle through the 80's (when makeup brushes, highlighter and bronzer were unheard of) was similar, if not identical, to this! Obviously, we didn't have the same products but, thankfully, my hair was/is incredibly thick and held the style (with some light gel). Hahaha, I had some huge earrings to wear with it ... HUGE!!! I love how your hair is growing, it's so healthy looking and the colour is fantastic. I'm so looking forward to seeing the final look - at the rate your hair grows, it really won't be long at all. 💗💞💗💞💗

Your hair looks beautiful! Don’t give up! 😊 I also had my head shaved ( I had no hair in the back or sides and very short hair on the top). I grew it out (not as nice as you have) and it took me about three years to go from shaved head to waist length hair. 💇‍♀️

Holy crap I love this!! I’m currently growing my hair out as well and it’s been a struggle lol grows out then I need to cut the sides so the top can grow more. It’s discouraging. I did it to let my greys grow out and have their moment. Hopefully I get to this length soon bc 😍😍

Thanks for the video. So helpful to see what one year regrowth looks like and what to expect. I am bald from chemo right now. My hair was curly/wavy before. Wish it was straighter like yours so I could style it easier. I’m afraid of looking like a clown during the grow out phase!

The Big Sexy Hair Powder is my FAVORITE as well. I use the lite because I only wash my hair every 3 days (ok. Sometimes 4🤪) so if I use the original it's too much and gross by the 2nd or 3rd day, but the lite I can use that one day and it will last all 3 days and gives me that grip😁💋 amazing stuff. Ok. My life is a constant fight between wanting to grow my hair out, chopping it back off and over again. My hairline is like Eddie Munster, so I can't do a no bangs look because it just looks weird and I get so frustrated by it. You look so good with every stage of this year with your hair. You are so beautiful and your tutorials are so helpful. My daughter (14) had super long hair for her whole life; only trims since she was born. Last year, when quarantine started, she wanted to get it all cut off. She went from hair down to her waist all the way to what your length is now! She still loves it short, but has been growing it out since then. I can't wait to show her this video, just to give her some new ideas for styling. (Although, since she's a teenager, it will probably be a few hours. LOL) PS...i think the little layer of longer hairs in the back is really cute. My vote is to not cut them. They hug your neck in a very flattering way.

I want to cut it super short again because it’s driving me nuts. 😂 My hair is platinum, wavy and wants to poof in ugly ways. It won’t tuck behind my ears or anything!
