This week I am back with another scrap melt! I apologize for today's video being late, I had some serious rendering issues with my PC again! Today I'm melting down the outer casings of the transformers that I've been slowly taking apart, it was a good time and the ice quenches are as satisfying as ever!

I tried melting metal before with a cole furnace. I wasn’t very successful. Maybe one day I’ll have to get into it again, but with gas or diesel.

Gas furnaces work really nicely! They aren't horribly expensive and are very efficient. I like coal for blacksmithing but for melting I prefer propane! Check out devil forge, they make good quality furnaces if you want to look into it further
