HELLO FRIENDS!! Today I let the intrusive thoughts win and melted together every bar of soap sold at Whole Foods…yes, that’s right - not even Whole Foods is safe from some ~mad franken-science~.
So we bought 109 bars from 23 different brands - and shredded them all down to tiny little cheese shreds, and then used a "rebatching" technique to create one singular & striped franken-bar. The process was long and grueling, but it was definitely worth it in the end since our final franken-bars ended up so cute!! What do you guys think of our final product? And since we've tackled both Lush and Whole Foods soaps now, whose soaps do you want to see us demolish next???

To those who are still seeking, still questioning, still not sure about their faith, here's an invitation. Understand that we, as humans, are limited. Embrace love, kindness, and righteousness, just like how Jesus lived His life. As Romans 10:9 suggests, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Consider baptism, a symbolic gesture of your new journey, your decision to leave the old behind, and embark on a new life in Him. Matthew 28:19 encourages us, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Lastly, remain steadfast. Consistency in following Jesus and His teachings is the key. As Jesus says in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commands." This is not a demand but a warm invitation. An invitation to explore, to understand, and to experience a love that transcends human comprehension. A love that saves, heals, and brings life.

Trust in Jesus, Hell is real and eternal! This is what the Bible says about it.. "Thou shalt not lie, steal, covet, dishonor parents, take God's name in vain.."(Exodus 20) We do not have righteousness on our own to get to heaven, "God made him (Jesus) who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Cor. 5:21 Godly sorrow leads to genuine repentance for sinning against the righteous God and there is a change of heart, we change our mind and God changes our hearts and regenerates us from the inside out. God is deadly serious about sin, when we genuinely repent we hate sin just as God hates it, and we turn away from it. "But God commended His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was. He saves us from sin and hell and brings us into a relationship with him. We become God's children. We are saved from hell, eternal death. "For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Rom 10:13 CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD. Every single person who ever lived since Adam will bend their knee and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. Read the Bible, Walk with the Lord and give your life to Him!

I love seeing The Duchess of Suds herself in these soapy videos. Katie is one of my all time favorite yt creators, and I think underrated, so it’s nice to see her featured by Safiya, who is a comparatively big channel. 💜 I was amazed that layers could happen in a rebatched soap. I didnt know they sell The Bath Place there! I met the owner of that business when she had just started out at the farmers market in the city we both lived in. We traded soap for produce I grew. It is so amazing to see how her business has grown. She opened the Raleigh location more recently and her first shop is in Rocky Mount (where I used to live). Highly recommend her products, great quality and a lovely human.

They looked great! This is pretty awesome! I do like a good soap and I actually liked that one with the hole in it because I'll bet that helps prevent a person from dropping the soap as much and perhaps also keeps it so the bottom of the soap doesn't get as slimy after you use it.

This idea sounds like fun in theory but nightmare to execute. The fact that Saf goes through with the massive amount of effort to shred literally 10 giant buckets of soap, mix multiple giant Bertha pots, and melt 5 croc pots for multiple days is true dedication. That amount of work is appreciated and does not go unnoticed!

I think the fact that all of the colors came out muted/desaturated really helped with that. If one of the layers had been really a bright or bold color it would have looked really out of place. Being all of a similar hue lets all of the colors feel like they "belong" even if they're not very "nice" individually.

12:28 tar soap helped me with a major scalp allergy years ago, it smells horrible (and you absolutely need conditioner for your hair if you use it on your scalp) but it's indeed very useful.
