Satam was it's own series. the Archie Sonic Comics stared off with it's cheesy gags and humor similar to AOSTH. And when Satam got cancelled, Archie went to towards that route and continued it's characters and setting in their universe.

Hurst actually started writing up drafts of his vision for season 3 before he passed (may he rest in peace) and these documents were sent to a few people via e-mail. After his death, those e-mails would eventually be published to the internet. I must say, from what I've read of those documents there was some really deep and dark storytelling concerning Nichole's origins... very sad... very deep... I'd highly recommend it for good reading material, but I forgot where I last saw them :P

My two biggest pet peeves being that Orin Scruvello was replaced by someone with a worse name and that Twoey was toned down for us kids at the time the show was still around (with reruns). Twoey being the thing that bugs me the most because he is my FAVORITE character in the preceding musical adaptation.

Wow, no one else was stricken in any way by the Little Shop series? (I just read the comments.) One channel aired an episode once or twice of LS when I was still very small and all I remember is Twoey. And I was born in 1992. But now, at 19, I am a HUGE fan-girl for Little Shop Of Horrors and upon reading about the differences between Little Shop and LSOH, I was just MORTIFIED.

You know it's a good thing that he is not doing it. Belive or not Sonic Underground actualy aired on Disney XD. Problem is, it came on at 6 A.M., so no one would probly be watching it. But, I watched it, and I felt great watching episodes that I never saw. So, Sonis Underground is not really 'forgotten'.

i remember there was a TV show on old Cartoon Network that has 3 robotots as the main character, and maybe a human, the only thing i remember about it was the reaction of once of the robots upon eating a hamburger "BURGER, BURGER, BURGER...."

The real reason why Sonic SatAM was canceled is because at the time, it was airing at the exact same time Power Rangers was being aired on FOX. Obviously, Power Rangers had much higher ratings, so that's why ABC decided to pull the plug on SatAM.

I agree when you mentioned Little Shop sucked and yes, I hated the show, too. When you mentioned about refusing to do Sonic cartoons on Forgotten Media, well DUH! I know that because your channel was meant to be strictly about history and you should be proud of that and that's good.

LSOH should have never been converted for "all ages". I very much enjoy having it hold it's place on my shelf between CATS and Rocky Horror Picture Show. Which, I suppose CATS can be watched by any age group, but it has hidden things for the older crew, too. But TRHPS is NOT for kids. Not at all.

According to an unreliable source (Wikipedia), the Fleetway comics are based on that Pre-SatAM cartoon you talked abou at the end. I don't know if it's true or not, especially since I am American.

Some people blam Power Rangers for Sonic SatAM Season 3's cancellation. I personally think Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog was gaining more attention from the younger viewers since both shows were made in the same year by the same company, but that's just me.
