I recently saw a wonder ball at a Walmart. So it has returned.

Wonderball was my favorite candy as a kid. I really miss them... Also, the Burger King Pokeballs weren't banned because of choking hazard, but rather if a child were to hold half of it up to their face, it would create a vacuum over their mouth and nose and cause suffocation

I remember the Wonderball so well... Used to get them all the time as a child growing up in the early 2000's...

Oh yeah, I remember the wonder ball now, that was actually one of my favorite candies and I ALWAYS LOVED eating the chocolate ball, aw good times, it's a shame they discontinued it, I would've loved to eat more:)

The pokeball thing actually was more of a thing, cause it wasn't outright choking, but the red half could get over the mouth of a toddler or whatever and suffocate them

William Hanna never worked for Paul Terry. Joe Barbera did however, before he met Hanna and worked at MGM. Hanna was at MGM at the time Kiko was released.

The burger king pokeballs weren't "choking hazards" per se, they were more suffocation hazards. A small kid could fit the red top over their nose and mouth and it would form a vacuum and suffocate because there were no air holes in the top. 2 kids died and there was a recall. They were just classified as a "choking hazard" because there isn't a "suffocation hazard."

Excellent Video In fact Kinder also is sold in South America (I'm from Argentina). Seems to me that Wonder Ball also be commercialized here, but it was at the time where many brands launched their version of Kinder.

I remember the Wonderball... I'd just eat it like an apple when they put the candy inside...When the toy was inside I'd make it pop out like the Alien inside the guy's stomach in Alien 1

I still remember the Wonder Ball. I'm still surprised that it originally started in England; even more surprised that it was originally the Magic Ball in '93; never had those back then, I was a fan of M&M's and Crunch.

I heard there's a product similar to wonderball called Choco Treasures, which came out about a year ago. They're bigger in size compared to a wonderball and I think you can get them online.
