Meltt is a Vancouver, British Columbia-based band that makes alterna-psych rock for your daydreams. The band made up of members Chris Smith (lead vocals, guitar, bass, keys), Jaime Turner (drums, percussion), James Porter (guitar, keys, bass, vocals), and Ian Winkler (bass, keys, guitar, backing vocals), enable rock, alternative, and psychedelia to coexist in one ecosystem with airtight instrumentation and deft song craft. During their interview with Audiotree Host, FINGY, the band chats about their writing process, nature’s influence on their music, and their favorite albums of all time. Hello, I am an admirer of you from Morelia, Mexico. That he is infinitely grateful to them for their work, not only as musicians but as people, in the sense that their lyrics, their melodies help me move to a totally different environment... which is a magical place for me. I literally feel like his foray into music was divinely guided or something. Because they give peace through music and this live performance was something simply wonderful on this spring equinox.❤❤❤

The guitar rift in soak my head is amazing, gives it almost a country sounding feel, a different sound than the studio version. These guys are crazy good 💯

Discovered Meltt last year via Shazam at a restaurant and love so much of their stuff (Absent Sea, Flow, Within You Within Me, Deeper Water, Photogenie, Keep Moving On, the list goes on...) Absolutely top notch. Hope they tour the northeast US in the not-too-distant future. I'd love to see them live in the greater NYC area. Could totally see them playing in Brooklyn or something.
