Me too. Buzz seems to have become a little dour over the years. Saw redd kross a couple years ago (5?) in Philly at a small venue and Steve was super nice.

Best Jaminthevan yet! MELVINS are one of the greatest bands you can ever see live. I remember seeing them open for TOOL on tour at Brisbane entertainment centre. I went from TOOL fan to full on MELVINS fan right away. They blew me away with there heaviness and stage presence. Could barely hear TOOL after they played. 🤘🍻

Melvins ha trabajado toda su carrera creando, rompiendo esquemas y haciendo lo que realmente quieren,, todo bajo su propio control. Prácticamente todas las bandas que formaron parte de la escena de Washington a mediados y finales de los 80's veían a Melvins como la mejor banda del momento y de los alrededores. En mi opinión, lo siguen siendo 35 años después.

Bernardo Gubbins Melvins is one of the greatest bands in my opinion, especially in the sludge metal sub-genre. A underrated band for sure.

Robert Fripp ((King Crimson) despised the recording industry back in the 70s, referred tonpunk rock as a model of future musical freedom, "small, mobile, intelligent units". Melvins definitely got that

Someone got very offended because I compared these guys to King Crimson or some alternative prog rock. First of all! Yes I know a lot about genres. What I have heard from Melvins is complex and ever-changing and awesome and original, and makes me think of some prog rock elements.

I read a ton about rock history and this band continually appears as influences to so many other bands, I had to give these guys another shot. After numerous attempts my thoughts haven't changed. The Melvins are 2nd only to the Sex Pistols as the most overrated band of all time!
