Melvins Lite - Freak Puke - Interview & Live Performance

Buzz, Dale, and Trevor Dunn stop off at the Mohawk in Austin, Texas for their 45th Melvins Lite show while on their record breaking '51 States in 51 Days' Tour. We were able to throw a few mics in front of them and let them rip! The rippage started with George Thurgood, then moved onto Neil Young, but ended on a positive note and they collectively agreed that they would work with a few famous pop stars if given the opportunity. They also talked about writing their latest album 'Freak Puke' and why they release limited edition records. The beauty of Freak puke is that the Melvins managed to make a dark album without resorting to heavy riffs. Inner ear rupture is the very essence of the album, although I don't listen to it much, it's not just noise. If you listen to Tommy Goes Bezerk, at the very end they go back into it. It's very artistic

I love the Melvin's they tell the truth like it is, even though people will make excuses for them ,oh there not famous oh they whine and cry noooooo that's what they do, and where there at there real people Kirk is dead and there NOT !
