I meant to include in my previous comment that I agree with your statements about the importance of memories and how difficult and frightening it would be not to have any. Regarding the film, I just finished watching "Memento" and I enjoyed it. I thought it was quite interesting, but it did seem just a bit long to me. It also was made pretty obvious that no one, including Leonard, was a reliable source of information, so there really weren't any big surprises when lies were exposed. I thought Guy Pearce was very good, as usual. I always like him. I'm glad I watched "Memento." Even though I didn't love it, I liked it well enough that I probably will watch it again sometime.

I also remember not feeling the ending was compleately satifying the first time I watched it, but I feel like it is a film that becomes better the more time you are watching it, since then it is different aspects of it you are noticing. Particularly the non- linear structure, which I think is really well handled. But as always its great to hear your opinion!

@@thefilmclassic4210 Yes, the reason I'm pretty sure I will watch "Memento" again sometime is because I probably will notice and appreciate some things that maybe I didn't pick up on the first time.
