These clocks emulate the beating of the heart, a primal sound that we all heard from the time of our conception. It is a peaceful and calming sound.

Amazing person that keeps the beautiful art of clock making alive. An inspiration and she brings joy to all clock lovers.

The clock movement at the end of the video is strangely peaceful with its unorthodox beat noises. Excellent video and an excellent portrayal of Ms Rude

We enjoyed watching Miss Rude sharing her works, while we are watch and pocket watchmakers, we enjoy the clocks equally as well, as she shares this well, so much shared history, thank you from two guys in the high-desert of California, Lance & Patrick.

Fascinating and meditative just as Tabea says. Image and music beautifully put together. Just the passing of time.

Wow neat! I guess I saw some electric pendulum coils for some of them? She's right about modern watches being less fun to work on, too heavy a parts embargo by the greedy Swiss makers.

I had no idea that Ms. Rude had died. She did some beautiful work for me several years back. I’m glad she has been captured on film and shall miss her.

@@tomjennings8391 Memento Mori is generally used as the title of an elegy after someone’s death. As Mark Twain said, “Reports of my death have been much exaggerated”

@@Ishioka905 albeit, a memento mori is a reminder of death, and is commonly inscribed on old clocks, which is why tabea chose it for the title. Apologies for the confusion in any case.
