Wonderful stories flavor your cake recipe😊 In the 60s as a child, I helped my Mother make Spritz cookies at Christmas time. I measured the baking powder (very important that I'd be using it and not baking soda). I guess I was concentrating on it being baking powder and sifted 1 1/2 CUPS into the mixture instead of teaspoons. Hahaha. Mother figured out the math of it all and we added enough ingredients to get the cookies right. Every neighbor, friend, teacher, all Sunday school classes and family members got plates of those Spritz cookies. So funny to this day😂

I'm making this today. The cake is in the oven, and I'm as excited as any child would be, lol! I can't wait! I love Cracker Barrel's Coca-Cola Cake, and I know this will be just as good, if not better. I needed something to perk me up right now. Side note: Please all that read this, say a little prayer for me. By the grace of God, in preparing to have the first of two surgeries on my cervical spine, a mass was found during an MRI. By the time I went for an ultrasound, another mass was found. And, they show signs of malignancy. I am now being referred to an endocrinologist for a biopsy. I certainly don't want cancer, but I don't want to lose any, or all of my thyroid either. Of course I'll do what I absolutely must, I just hate the thought of adding a lifelong medicine, and fighting weight gain 😢 TIA May God richly bless you for your prayers.

That coke and marshmallow mixture sounds like it would work for some rice crispies treats as well. But I’m going to try to make this cake, again as the first time I was missing some ingredients. God bless 🙏🏽

It also should have a 1 cup and 1/2 cup of miniature marshmallows stir this into batter before putting into pan.

You should put the butter cocoa and the coke in a pan on stove and cook until this all mixes together then put ur powd ered sugar together with the coke mix that u melted on stove and beat with a wisk .it taste like fudge. Wonderful icing .
