My dad died suddenly last September, and the last time that I saw him before he died he was telling me about this awesome cake with Cool Whip and pineapple and yellow cake mix and how much he loved it and wanted me to try it. Yummm Meme!! I have made the cake and I use melted butter instead of vegetable oil ( oh my goodness) I luv to poke hole and add some heavy cream with pineapple juice ( mixed well and pour over cake) Everything else just like you make yummmm 🙏

I need to make this! I make a cake that is so good. I use a Duncan Hines French Vanilla cake and mix according to directions except I add 4 eggs a box of banana cream pudding and a handful of full of shredded coconut. Bake as directed. It is delicious!
