In USA, May is “National Military Appreciation Month”, and in 2023 Biden made November “National Veterans and Military Families Month” so veteran’s actually have two months. The Veterans Charity in UK has hosted multiple veterans months in March, with a big “March Forth” event to honor veterans on March 4th. There’s also “The Month of the Military Child”, in April, which is a campaign to raise awareness about the role Service children play in the Armed Forces community. Two quick google searches have always proved the “what about a veterans month >:(“ people wrong, which really just goes to show none of them actually give a fuck about supporting veterans, they just want to pit two groups against each other for sake of it.

Also there’s a difference between celebrating ppl who served in wars and queer people. People who served in wars aren’t oppressed and hated, so it’s not like they don’t get credit or aren’t treated unwell.

i don’t get how connor can say “we’re in a population collapse” and “the government don’t care about us” and not piece together the commonality. one of the main reasons we’re in “population collapse” is because a lot people cannot afford to live, let alone afford to raise a child in the current economy. The having kids argument is funny to me. I’m a geography teacher and I have been teaching year 9 about population. Women not prioritising having children is the sign of a developed country and therefore developed society. Women in the UK all go to school, and all have the option to work and have careers, which will mean that they are more likely to focus on that rather than having children. Women having the mindset of ‘having children is my priority in life’ is more commonly found in poorer countries, because that is seen as their role in life, they don’t always go to school and most won’t be allowed to work which is an indicator of a less developed society. If women don’t want to have kids as a priority in the UK then all power to them, they are lucky enough to not be oppressed and have the freedom to do whatever they want, it is their life after all. My 13/14 old students know this but not this guy, hopefully most people, like George said, see right through this guy.
