@@mr.doodle4546 well, it's not really a rule, since it's not written down anywhere or enforced in any way. I'm talking about the 5 beats, 5 effects, 5 melodies and 5 voices, which is the incredibox default. Over the course of experiencing all the different mods that people made, I have seen that many people follow this consistency (I guess I can call that) in different ways, some adhere closely, others push the boundaries a little bit and others do whatever the heck they feel like. The most notable consequence of this that I can think of is the not so rare phenomenon of people using the effects as a dumping ground for not-quite-melodies or quirky/weird sounds in general. As for the reason of my original comment, I noticed that the majority of the voice polos in your memorbox versions are very digital/8bit/not-quite-a-human-noise. Which is by no means bad. Making good voices for an incredibox mod is, to my knowledge, much harder than all the other sound categories. Which is why I appreciate how you implemented the voices.
