The 2024 Forest Hills Memorial Day Parade was held on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
This annual event, hosted by the American Legion Continental Post #1424 in Forest Hills, NY, brings together local and statewide community and civic groups to march along Metropolitan Avenue. it's a wonderful way to honor and remember those who served our country.

Beautiful weather on May 26, 2024 for the annual Forest Hills Memorial Day Parade, sponsored by FH Legions Hall. Mr Tsui covered the parade masterfully with his recording. The true spirit of this solemn holiday is to honor and to remember our fallen military heroes. Some were severely injured. Others made the ultimate sacrifice, giving their lives for our freedom. It is very true: Freedom is never free. To all those who served, thank you very much for your sacrifices and for your service!
