Your little walk with Karter was absolutely adorable. She probably enjoyed every minute of it. I personally love fireworks and watching them but my dog is terrified of them. She barks and barks barks at them along with shaking and panting. So I was in bed with her last night at 7:15 to make her feel safe. My little 5lb dog could careless and looks at my 90lb dog like she’s crazy. But I will do anything to make them feel better and feel safe. I hope 2024 is going to be a great year for you and your family.

Jake, I feel your pain about the fireworks! I really do despise them! My cat hides and my poor little Schnauzer nearly has a nervous breakdown. I have to put his Thunder Shirt on him, use calming meds, and hold him. When I was able to have horses, I had to stay with them almost all night! It is totally ridiculous that we have to endure their fireworks and even gunshots every holiday. I just can’t understand how people cannot have consideration and compassion for animals and children! Karter is the sweetest little girl and it was so heartwarming seeing you two together. I never realised that you set fireworks off on new years eve in the States. It's terrible here in Germany 😢 Last year was so bad I thought my horses we going to die, one had a colic and the other was so tired from running I thought he was going to drop dead. I cried where I was so scared. This year I gave them CBD to calm them, ear plugs for horses and special ear muffs to keep the noise out. It actually worked, the horses stayed in their stable eating very calm throughout the nightmare of fireworks ❤ Happy new year to everyone 🎉❤

I am truly surprised that your family was so inconsiderate doing fireworks when they all have animals. I know when I had my dogs they would freak out starting the weeks before and after the 4th of July and again over the New Year Holiday weeks. I tried a number of things to comfort my dogs and they were still stressed for days. The fireworks also stress out veterans suffering from being in combat. Thank you Jake for caring about the animals.

So sorry that people are so inconsiderate about all the animals safety. My husband and myself shared shifts last night staying with our animals in the barn to keep them calm. We play music ( which is daily for them) just more louder. It drowns out some of the fireworks. People just don’t understand that not everyone or everything likes fireworks. We had a neighbor who lost a beautiful horse last July because of fireworks. She ran through a fence breaking her front legs. It’s sad.

Couldn’t Ben do them at his house where they live in a subdivision and don’t have farm animals all over? My guess is the homeowners association thingy they are apart of doesn’t allow them to which is why he did them there. But still if you can’t do them at your house then I guess you just don’t get to do them because there is way to many animals on morrow hill to be doing fireworks ON MORROW HILL! Carter such a sweetie my favorite 💕 I understand about the fireworks twice a year I watch my dog go through fear so bad on the fourth of July he went through a French door thank God he didn't get hurt, The Vet asked me to give him medication from now on and make him a bunker in a closet leave the door 1/2 way open. I used it last night without the medication and it was a lot better. I can't imagine what all the babies were going through I'm so sorry they have to go through that crap.❤🙏
