This slide show is comprised of vintage biker photos I took during the time I rode with Unforgiven Fate 1978-79. I hope you enjoy the vintage photos of that time. The slide show is dedicated to all former members of Unforgiven Fate MC, Goppingen, and especially to the memory of Wolle, and Chuck Cravens, our lost brothers of the road.
Disclaimer, Unforgiven Fate Motorcycle Club, Germany, referenced as UFMC here on out, should not to be confused with any other club or clubs of similar names.
UFMC, was a club comprised of American soldiers, veterans, and German locals. The club existed from the mid/late 1970s until about 2000 in Göppingen and Schwäbisch Gmünd, part of Stuttgart Region of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The club was founded around 1976-77 by an Army Veteran Wayne Leedy and his wife Connie, Connie was a soldier on active duty in Göppingen W. Germany.
Myself I left Germany and the club in January 1980 when I separated from the Army. I really don’t know much about the club after my time except what I have been told by one of the last German members I reconnected with a couple years ago. Basically in the 1980s as American soldiers left the area due to base closers in the area, UFMC evolved into a German only Club and lasted until about the year 2000 when the remaining membership patched over into a larger Club in Stuttgart Germany.

Thanks for uploading this beautiful time travel. Motorbikes shaped my life since I was 13 years old, and now I´m over 60 years and still rocker. These good old times with a lot of small clubs were better than now. Unfortunately the scene has changed, but I have a lot of pictures and memories in my head. I enjoyed this video very much. Hope, I can still ride the next 20 years or more. See you on the road Greetings from Germany

Some awesome footage. I was born and raised in Germany unfortunately a bit to late. I remember as a kid in the early 80s seeing all this chopped Japanese Bikes. When I finally got around the german MC Szene it was the beginning of the end. This was in the late 90s and the arrival of the big US 1% MC's in Germany that came with more good than bad. Anyway I guess that was the reason why I never joined any MC. Just moved to Oklahoma I have to make it to Arkansas this coming season for some rides, looks beautiful over there.

Was it 79 or 78? After thinking about it it seems one brother who was a member shortly before me who left the club in Oct/Nov 78 to prospect for another club. In fact there were two brothers that left in October/Nov to join a different club, one rode a Norton the other a Triumph (?) One's name was Achim (?) I Am Struggling with my memory right now.

That was my Time. 1972 my first bike was a KAWASAKI 750 H 2 Mach IV. Bikerparty with the BONES. 1978 with my Yamaha XT 500 to India. Gave my live to JESUS, was baptized in the Gulf of Siam, Thailand, from US Baptistmissionaries. After 4 Years went back to Germany. Got a very rare HD CR 1000 with a silencer on each side. I saw one in red in this Video. 84 one year in the big apple, build a brewery downtown New York. After that an other brewery, the CORONA in the south of Mexico for about 2 years. And always back to my hometown COLOGNE. Then MOTO GUZZI CALIFORNIA III. Until now. A Jesus follower on a California. God bless you Guys. John 3, 16
