This Chapel was the second to be built on this site at Briercliffe, Burnley. Sadly this building was found to have severe structural problems with an estimated repair cost of more than £200,000. As a result it was closed for services which are now being held at the former school rooms off Burnley Road. It was then decided the 135 year old Chapel was unsafe and would have to be demolished. The 75 years old pipe organ which cost a tremendous £2000 was dismantled and was donated to a Lutheran church 30 kilometres from Riga, the capital of Latvia. This short film shows the final days of this chapel and covers the main aspects of this organ being disassembled.
