I have just come back from a 10 day Ithikaaf in Madinah, where I stayed inside the Haram, I agree with every thing this Brother has to say, the place will test you like you've never ever known before.

Actually Sheikh Abdul Muhsin Al Abbad (hafizahullah) has taught for 51 years now, i had the opportunity to attend his class in his 50th year (which was the 50th year of Jamia too, so he has been teaching since Jamia was inaugurated Mashallah)

yes brother that is the official cut off age however there have been cases where brothers over that age make duwah and pray ALLAH accept your efforts ameen

You can do any job when you come back. many brothers start their own businesses, some brothers study further at Universities throughout their countries or other countries, some brothers start jobs such as teaching. This is a degree like any other degree. The only obstacles are getting the transcripts and certificate translated by NARIC UK as well as adjusting back to life in the UK or wherever students come from.

everythinng is inclusive and paid for by the university. If you need to renew your passport due to expiration then thats something that you have to find out in the US. You can apply via the Islamic uni website akhi. Allah grant u success and keep us and guide us on the straight path.

they do make exceptions for the 25 year limit. i know a brother who was accepted at 30 years of age, but you must be from a country from which almost no student are studying in the University. (which is very few)

no they sadly dont. But look into ummul qura uni in makkah inshallah. remember, 1 prayer in the harram is worth 1000 prayers! Allah hu akbar.

For the Meccan Haram, it's authentically reported from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم that it's reward is 100,000.

at 29:25 the ustaadh says that there is a way to apply online. i would really like to know how to apply online. I have 2 years remaining to apply because i heard that they dont take any 1 after 25 years of age. So please let me know as soon as possible how do i apply online.

I have a question and that is ... Can I shave my Mustache with razor there while studying ? ... or razor is not allowed their ? ... I want to take razor only to shave my mustache n armpit .. and can I access tailor to cut my pants n jubbah lower parts above ankles ? ... it's very important for a Muslim .. thanks .. pls answer .. .. I am asking this question because I found that most scholars who graduated from Madinah university .. do not shave their mustache but only just cut them with scissor . n that is why I am asking this ..

If i apply after 25 years of age n I want to pay .. then will they take me ? .. because in Muslim world there a lot of potential Muslim youth .. InshaAllah I am also one of them .. who did not get the chance to study on Islamic knowledge academically from their beginning of youth but they study by their own n then feel the necessity to study academically .. and so pls tell me if there any chance to study their at middle age means at the age of 30 years old ? ..

Luqman Riaz I’ve heard that going for umrah and getting an interview at the university will increase your chances of being accepted. I think the interview is in Arabic so if you don’t speak Arabic, you should try to take an Arabic speaker with you to umrah/interview. If you don’t have anyone, I think you’ll be able to find an English & Arabic speaker in Madinah maybe a student that goes to the university. I think you have to apply for the university, then go to umrah and get interview. May Allah make it easy for you and us all Ameen.

narrated by Ahmad and Ibn Majaah (1406) from Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: One prayer in my mosque is better than one thousand prayers elsewhere, except al-Masjid al-Haraam, and one prayer in al-Masjid al-Haraam is better than one hundred thousand prayers elsewhere hadith classed as saheeh by al-Mundhiri and al-Busayri. Very high and even hoher When you are a revert
