The Muslim who memorizes the Quran has countless features in this life and in the hereafter. As the people, who memorize Quran, are considered the people of Allah and of Islam, because they keep the Book of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, apply its rules, and teach it to all people as the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him ) said, “The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.” Therefore, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) asserted that the Muslim, who memorizes and teaches It to all people, is the best of all Muslims and nations.Furthermore, the parents of the one, who memorizes the Quran, will be honored in the hereafter as they are donned with the crown on the Day of Resurrection as a result of their son’s/daughter’s Quran memorization and applying its rules. Therefore, the one who wants to memorize the Book of Allah should do the following:Make sure to dedicate your intention to Allah.Praying Allah to honor him with memorizing His Book.Repenting to Allah of any sins that he committed, as Allah is the All Forgiving, the Most Merciful.After that, he should make a good plan to memorize the Book of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, save the effort and power, and be patient, not hopeless because the Quran contains some words that are considered difficult somehow. Also, Quran memorization needs some of activeness, persistence, and participation with a team in order to encourage each other to memorize Quran.
