memory-steel re-bar - Bridge Strengthening

2 жыл бұрынA reinforced concrete bridge was retrofitted. As the intermediate support on the underside of the slab had to be removed, the static system changed and thus required a flexural strengthening of the slab. For this purpose, the concrete surface was hydromechanically roughened, memory-steel re-bars were installed and activated, and finally, covered with sprayed mortar (Sika MonoTop®-422 PCC) The system allowed to generate prestressing easily and reinforcing the structure efficiently without the need for extensive equipment.

Overhead work is always much more difficult even though supported by advanced tools..your neck will surely be sore

È un materiale speciale. La "acciaio a memoria" (memory-steel) ricorda la sua forma. L'acciaio viene "deformato" e fissato alla struttura e riscaldato. Riscaldandolo, vuole deformarsi di nuovo e genera una forza di trazione nella struttura. Questo viene utilizzato per alleggerire e rinforzare la struttura.
