In Memphis anything that has an “Air” or “Ear” sound, like words like Hair or Hear, becomes Urr Hurr and Hurr Anything with a “You” soundin syllable become Urr mYousic commYounity mYoutual Muersic Commuernity Muertual

My mom is from Atl which is the country. City people move here and is changing the culture. My dad side from STL and I grew up there and moved to Atl at 21. Stl and Memphis accents similar and Dallas behind it. I say here like hirrrr, computer like comperter and I mix it with my atl up bringing too. I mean… it’s whatever

It's that consonant plus "yu" sound. Somewhere along the way either African and/or European ancestors probly couldn't pronounce it and so that "r" sound is added
