Este show é bastante especial: duas lendas do blues, tocando juntos em uma apresentação única, na Europa, na década de 1960. Imperdível : 56 minutos de puro êxtase.

+Elcy Oliveira -- I'm Slim's 1st cousin--my grandfather was his uncle, I want to thank you for posting this concert of his, I had the honor of touring with him at 6-years old performing as the front person with friends of his called The Regulators who were a Du-Whop and Gospel acapella group for about 6-months on the old "Chitlin' Trail." Sonny Boy gave me my first harmonica when I was 6-years old, I never got that good with it I was better at singing and taking pictures! Later, after I joined the Air Force and stationed in Germany, I got to visit him in Paris and toured with him again on the last five concerts ending in France from his Middle East and European in 1973 -- this time I was there to perform just along to take pictures -- I'm a professional photographer! I was going to visit him again when I got stationed in Sicily in late 1987, and we had it all set for when he came back from doing a gig with his old guitarist Matt Murphy; however, I was sent on a classified deployment and didn't get back till the 1st of March 1988; that's when I found out that he had caught the flu while he was in the states and he died of kidney failure on the 24th of February. The Sicilian blues and jazz radio stations had played his music in tribute for 3-days. About 14-years ago, I started doing a radio segment with the help of a DJ friend of mine, David Lescht, on the UNM college radio station, KUNM, called "Memphis Slim Remembered" either on or about his birthday of the 3rd of Sep. However, that ended 6-years ago when David died. Slim was a great individual, performer, friend, and humanitarian and I truly miss him! Again, thank you so much for posting his video here!

Rev. Robert : How much honor ! His uncle was a genius of Blues and modern music. The music world owes a lot to him and his incredible group. I am flattered by your visit here on my channel and by the fantastic report you made. This is living history! Thank you very much Reverend.

This is an absolutely fantastic and rather touching story. Love it. Thanks for sharing. He was a true great of the blues and, it would seem, quite the personality, too! Thanks again for sharing this story. After all, to some of us, THESE people - and not the people you see in magazines or on MTV - are our heroes, so it's really cool to periodically hear these insider stories. Best wishes to you!!

The great Memphis Slim combined the rough primitive blues and the traditional boogie-woogie piano, together with an elegant and light and sophisticated Jazzy feel. Matt Gitar Murphy was also a true giant of the blues. Combine these two with the unique blues harp of Sonny Boy Williamson (the second), which is as deeply expressive and as emotional as any singer's voice, and you get a set which is elegant and subdued, but with a deep blue feeling.

Jesus is a man. His blood has been double-blind tested in an Israeli lab. Human blood. Instead of 46 chromosomes, it has all female DNA strand of 23 and ONE X masculine chromosome. God made Man in His image. From the man, he took a rib and made Woman. Jesus is God. While earth-bound, he was subject to ALL temptations common to human MEN, including female attraction. He could not sin, but He was tempted in every way, including by women. Just so we're clear, God is a man in spirit, in resurrected flesh and in transcendence of the weaker vessel. Eve was decieved. Adam chose.
