DG has always been One of My Favorite Drummer's on the Planet. His Technique is out of this World. Much Success to Tower Of Power and Dave Garibaldi.

Amazing! Dave's groove is so vibrant, captivating, the song still grooves with a one man rhythm section. Let's keep it simple, Dave is a genius!

The sax soloing by Tommy Politzer is outstanding. He is an unsung hero of the band. His solos with Tommy Igoe's band are also top notch. Thank you Memphis Drum Shop for these amazing sounding recordings!

Me and my friends from our ROLLINGWOOD neighborhood, used to jump the fence at CONTRA COSTA COLLEGE and watch TOWER OF POWER rehearse.. BEFORE THEIR FIRST LP !!! Dewayne JACKSON & ARTY BARRON led the way..

i miss that percolating conga color nowadays with TOP..especially since DG had this extensive stint with TALKING DRUMS an afro-cuban percussion trio with Jesus Diaz and Michael Spiro...great stuff and very inspringen...
