I have always thought it is very arrogant of us as a species to believe our planet is the only planet with life. Especially to believe we are the only sentient species in the universe. To quote another movie Jurassic Park, Ian Malcom stated "Life finds a way." The natural forces of the universe are complex and beyond our simple reckoning in many ways.

I'd love to see you react to Carrie from 1976. The first film adaptation of Stephen King's first published work that was written in 1974. So early in his career, in fact, that not only did the trailer not vocalize his name, they also spelled his first name S T E V E N instead of S T E P H E N

1 Edgar/Bug = Vincent D'onofrio played Gomer Pyle in "Full Metal Jacket". 2. Tommy Lee Jones' roommate in college was Al Gore. 3. Jones has claimed that he's never had a part that he didn't love and doesn't have a job. Just a hobby that pays very good. 4. "Congratulations Reggie........It' a squid".🤣 5. Tell me this wasn't a fun movie. I dare you. 6. "MIB II" is ok but not as good as this one.

George, at 21:57 the reference to "Jack Webb" is because Jack Webb starred in the 1950's radio (at later television) series "Dragnet" as Los Angeles Police Sergeant Joe Friday. I recall that in the 1960s TV series Sgt. Friday's partner was Officer Bill Gannon (played by Harry Morgan).

Wow, George, it's a long time since I've seen Men in Black!! I remember I really enjoyed it, the idea of secret agents investigating alien creatures is brilliant and compelling! Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are great and the special effects are superb too. There are four Men in Black films including this one - Men in Black II (2002), Men in Black 3 (2012) and Men in Black International (2019). Another great film starring Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum (he was in Jurassic Park) is Independence Day (1996). It's a blockbuster with incredible special effects! Another fantastic film on a similar theme is Ghostbusters (1984). Thanks so much for your fab reaction, George, I'm so glad you enjoyed this film. Take care now and keep safe. 😊😊

The worlds fair is in my old neighborhood. Tons of kids would play in the water when the fountains were used in the 80s. They dont do that anymore and now have baracades. The towers used to be restaurants back in the days...the elevators In The 90s the destroyed elevators sat at the base and we used to climb on them and hang out in the ruins. So many memories of flushing meadow park.

"You know what the difference is between you and me? I make this look GOOD." Fun Fact: The sunglasses used by the Men in Black are the Ray-Ban "Predator 2" glasses. After the film's release, Ray-Ban reported that sales of these glasses tripled from $1.6 million to $5 million. Method Research Fact: Vincent D'Onofrio researched his role as Edgar by watching a lot of bug documentaries. In order to achieve his character's distinctive walk, he put on knee braces so he couldn't bend his legs, and taped up his ankles. Legendary Jump Fact: When James (Will Smith) jumps from the overpass onto the tour bus, he jumps from Pershing Square Bridge, the same location where Robert Neville (also Smith) is attacked by the demon dogs after the sun goes down in I Am Legend (2007).

*Casualties of War* (1989) True War story with *Michael J Fox* of *Back to the Future* , and *Sean Penn* . Directed by *Brian DePalma* (Director of *The Untouchables* ) The Untouchables was so successful the studio gave DePalma free reign on any project he wanted to do, he chose to tell this true horrific story in Casualties of War.

The movie "The Man From Earth". No famous actors. No action. Just a room with a few people and one of them decided to confess something before leaving the town forever. He is saying to them that he is from cave age thousands of years ago and can't age. His friends are all from the science field and can't believe him, thinking that he is joking with them or has just gone insane. Incredible movie. Highly recommend checking it out.

300. Hacksaw Ridge, and Men in Black as last 3 movies… ugh… your older picks were much better films 👍 You seem to be into war movies, so if you haven’t seen “Platoon” (1986) or “The Thin Red Line” (1998) you should watch those Platoon is Oliver Stones best film. And The Thin Red Line I’d rank as the 2nd best movie ever made.
