akbar is still cutting, he was a 109+ for a few comps. he was 107kg for this comp

he competed at the recent asian championships as a 102 he put up 180 and 220. it was 2-3 months ago

Liu's performance wouldn't give him 96kg total WR (416). It was worse in snatch, C&J and total than Moradi's 94kg WR (184+233=417). It was on par with 91kg WR by Petrov (187,5+225=412,5). I'm not even mentioning 99 or 105 classes, or pre-1992 era. Liu's performance was certainly good, especially in comparison to the current state of 109kg class, because of its exclusion from the olympics, but it pales in comparison to the bigger picture.

Someone who’s more familiar with the sport, please help me out. I know each country can only send three athletes per gender to the Olympics, but is there anything preventing one of those athletes from competing in 2 weight categories? For example, could Liu Huanhua compete in both the 102 and 109 category (or whatever the equivalent Olympic weight class is)?

109 is non-olympic this tine around. The men's categories at Paris will be -61, -73, -89, -102 and 102+.

Djuraev ganó sobrado pero siento q esta estancado, el a tenido mejores numeros que estos, fuera de eso huanhua en una categoría menor levantó mas, Djuraev cuando baje de categoria a 102 no podra vencer a gigachad que cada vez se ve mas solido e imbatible
